When we launched the Socially Shared Business Support Network, it was to unite local
business owners and share experiences. What began as a coffee and catch-up in a small
independent coffee shop in Kenilworth has now become a successful community for the West Midlands, Warwickshire, Staffordshire, and Leicestershire.
Part of that success is thanks to the like-minded women who attend our monthly networking
events, engage with other attendees, and push for special events that help them grow, learn,
and flourish. Special events like the Women in Business Conference.
Women in Business Conference
The theme of our 2023 Conference is ‘Mind Your Business’ which explores how your mindset can either be a help or a hindrance for your business or career.
Not only will attendees hear from expert speakers on the topic of mindset in your personal and professional lives, but you will also have plenty of opportunities to network with like- minded women who are going through similar experiences.

The venue for this year’s conference is the elegant 17th Century Ansty Hall, near Coventry.
What can you expect on the day?
The 2023 conference will consist of four inspirational speakers in the morning, a delicious networking lunch, and two further speakers in the afternoon. There will be an interactive activity in the morning and afternoon which will be both informative and fun.
The day will provide inspiration, an opportunity to network with an eclectic mix of professional women from a wide range of business sectors and a wealth of opportunities for learning, truly reflecting the very essence of what the Socially Shared Business Support Network is all about.
There will be plenty of opportunities for networking, with a welcome drinks reception upon arrival, a mid-morning refreshment break, a networking lunch, and then closing drinks with the speakers, workshop hosts, and sponsors at the end of the day.
All delegates will receive a complimentary conference programme in which to make notes and stay informed of the running order of the day. There will be the chance to make new contacts in the ‘Connections Zone’ where people can highlight particular businesses they are wanting to connect with, and/or need products or services from. The Socially Shared Online Bookshop will be showcasing a selection of books by local women authors at the event and you may even be able to purchase a signed copy by the authors that are in attendance too!
