There is not long to go until our Socially Shared Women in Business Conference. This event is a highlight on our calendar and the 2022 event will be held on Wednesday 8th June at Draycote Hotel and Golf Club, London Road, Rugby with ‘The Power of Communication’ as the main theme of the event.
The day begins with light refreshments and a spot of networking before we kick off with our amazing guest speakers. Over the next few weeks, we will be introducing you to each keynote speaker and sharing more details about what to expect at the conference.
Our third speaker of the day is Ellen Manning, journalist, and PR consultant.

Ellen has more than a decade’s experience in national, regional, and online media.
As a freelance journalist, she writes news, features, and comment pieces for national newspapers and magazines on a wide range of subjects. After years of telling stories via print and online media, she established EMPR to help small businesses and organisations tell their own stories and get coverage in the media.
Ellen works with a range of clients across sectors including technology, retail, hospitality, and local government. She also offers media training and appears regularly on radio and television, as well as speaking at functions, conferences, and dinners.
On top of this, she is a trustee on the board of Band of Builders, which provides practical support to members of the UK construction industry. Ellen also writes an award-winning food blog, Eat with Ellen.
Ellen spoke at our first Women in Business Conference some years ago and blew us away with her insights, advice, and storytelling. We can’t wait to see what she plans to share this time.
Join us for a day full of personal and professional development
The 2022 Conference will consist of four inspirational speakers in the morning, a delicious networking lunch, and an opportunity for learning in the afternoon with two interactive workshops. This combination of inspiration, building relationships and providing learning opportunities, truly reflects the ethos of the Socially Shared Business Support Network.
There will be plenty of opportunities for networking, with a welcome drinks reception upon arrival, a mid-morning refreshment break, a networking lunch, and then closing drinks with the speakers, workshop hosts, and sponsors at the end of the day.
All delegates will receive a free gift upon arrival and a complimentary conference programme, packed full of helpful information. All this is included in the price of the ticket along with free onsite parking. We are sure you will agree the ticket price offers exceptional value for money.
“Highly recommend! Attended my first conference today & wow it was amazing. The number of inspirational women I met today and supporters for my charity The Luca Foundation was fantastic. I am now signed up to Socially Shared too” – Sharon Luca-Chatha, The Luca Foundation
