Adam and Mordros spend one idyllic summer together in Cornwall. But at the end of the summer, Adam leaves and breaks his promise to stay in touch.

Fifteen years later, Mordros still doesn’t know why she lost the love of her life.

But life goes on, and now she’s in Broadsham organising her aunt’s 70th birthday party. The last thing she expects is to bump into Adam again.

He’s a lawyer now and involved in the village campaign to save the 250-year-old Broadsham pear tree from developers. When Mordros joins the protest, the pear tree’s future suddenly becomes just as important as their own.

But can they face up to their past and the reason Adam left?

Because maybe now is the right time to fall in love.
