The annual Socially Shared Women in Business Conference brings female entrepreneurs together from across the region to learn, support, and network.
Now in its eighth year, this conference continues to have a huge impact on attendees, as host and founder Karen Heap draws an impressive lineup of sponsors and speakers.

- Dawn Owen is the Premier Sponsor of the Women in Business Conference 2026, bringing her bold “Zero BS, High Vibe” coaching style to the event.
- Dawn believes confidence comes from taking action, not waiting until you feel ready or perfect.
- Her coaching focuses on mindset shifts, honest conversations, and helping women overcome fear, self-doubt, and playing small.
- She sponsored the conference to support women who want more freedom, impact, visibility, and income in their business.
- The conference theme of confidence strongly aligns with her belief that changing your thoughts can transform your results.
We caught up with our Premier Event Sponsor to find out why she chose to support this conference and how the theme of confidence is something she understands better than most.

Can you tell us a little about your business and what you do?
Dawn: Are you a 40+ woman who just knows there is more – more freedom, impact, and money in the bank? I’m a Zero BS, High Vibe as Fuck Coach, who helps you get everything you want and then some!
My group coaching is for women who are done overthinking, doubting, and dancing around their potential, and are ready to think and feel differently, and create results that match their ambition. This is where you learn to think like the woman who already has what you want and then become her.
What is unique about your business?
Dawn: I work with a ‘zero BS’ vibe, as I believe we, as women in business, have had enough of sugarcoating. If you need to have your hand held and soft reassurances whispered down your ear, then I’m not your girl. My coaching style gets results, but it also includes a few truth bombs along the way!
“Dawn is a powerhouse, no-nonsense, get it done (with sparkle) type of person, in her own life/Business and how she shows up for her clients and team members. If you want results, she is your woman! If you are tired of complacency, she is your woman! If you want change, she is your woman! If you are ready to have the life and business you dreamed of, she is your woman!” – Lynn Howard
What inspired you to sponsor the Women in Business Conference this year?
Dawn: I come across far too many women who are either terrified of stepping out of their comfort zone in their business or not earning the money they want because they’re playing it safe. Being in spaces like the Women in Business Conference allows me not only to share my honest story but also to offer attendees tips and advice that show them they’re not alone.
Seeing other women, learning, and figuring this out together is what makes an event like this truly special.
This year’s theme is confidence. What does confidence mean to you?
Dawn: I work with women who know they are destined for better and bigger things, but keep bumping up against the same barriers of fear, drama, self-doubt, entitlement, excuses, and emotional wobbles. Confidence comes from digging deep into the goo and looking at the lessons, the curveballs, and the breakthroughs to understand the thoughts that built them all.
Confidence isn’t about hustling, posting more, planning, pushing, and panting your way through life, and that’s why this theme has such a strong pull for me. You can be more confident if you take control of your thoughts.
Do you have a top tip to share about confidence?
Dawn: Stop waiting to feel confident before you start! Confidence is built through action, not before it. So many women believe they need to feel ready, polished, or perfect before they put themselves forward for opportunities, but confidence grows becauseyou took that first step.
Also, celebrate yourself more. Stop brushing past the wins, and allow yourself to fully acknowledge how far you’ve come.
How can attendees find out more about you?
Dawn: You can find out more about my work, events, group coaching, and community on Becoming a Business BadAss via my website: https://dawnowen.com/lfg/
I also regularly share content around confidence, visibility, mindset, business growth, and personal development on my Becoming a Business BadAss Podcast.
