One of the exciting highlights of the Socially Shared Business Development calendar is our annual Just About You event. There’s nothing better in the middle of a gloomy January than taking time out to look after your personal development. The event provides a guilt free day of networking, learning, and self-care with like-minded ladies from across the region.
Sarah is excited to be sponsoring this event for the 3rd year and will be sharing yet more of her style advice top tips.
Suzanne and the team from Elan Spa are looking forward to meeting you on the morning of the event, where you will be invited to have a complimentary hand massage when you arrive. There will be information about Elan Spa also available on the day and a little bird told me there may even be some discount vouchers too!
The guest speakers for this year’s Just About You day are:
Sarah Gray, Personal Stylist – Hello! I’m Sarah, and I love my work as a Personal Stylist. I help you combine clothing and confidence and transform how you see yourself and your wardrobe. We achieve this together through a combination of wardrobe decluttering, personal shopping and always with style advice tailored to you. Your personality is the most important aspect of your wardrobe – I ensure that when you open your wardrobe, you see a confident reflection of you and your lifestyle.
Confidence is an inside job – it’s my job to help you wear it well.
Jessica Weeks, Professional Organiser – I am a professional organiser serving homes and offices across Coventry and Warwickshire. I like nothing better than the challenge of supporting people with decluttering their home or office, helping to find the right balance of items vs space. Assessing the functionality of rooms, requirements for storage and then offering guidance and assistance to implement changes and turn your chaos into calm.
Lorraine Checklin, Wellbeing Coach – With twenty years working in HR roles and corporate environments, I have gained first-hand experience of the impacts of balancing work and home and the potential effects of ongoing pressure and stress; both in terms of my own experiences and the support that I have provided to others. Through my own personal journey, I had the wonderful fortune of discovering the amazing topic of Mindfulness and how, by making a few changes to the way I lived my life, I could support myself in many ways and build my personal resilience. I now work with people to achieve a calmer state of mind, become happier, more motivated and able to find enjoyment in life.
The day kicks off with networking and pastries between 9am – 10am (allowing for the school run) followed by our first speaker of the morning, Lorraine Checklin. Lorraine will be talking to us about organising our thoughts. If you attended the recent Socially Shared session Lorraine ran on this theme you’ll know what an essential and inspiring topic this is.
Our second speaker is Sarah Gray of Sarah Gray Image. She will be talking to us about organising your wardrobe for the year ahead, something I’m sure all of us busy businesswomen need to learn!
We break for more networking over a delicious buffet lunch between 12pm and 1pm and then return to our seats for the third and final speaker of the day. Jessica Weeks, takes to the stage at 1pm to guide us through organising our space, be it the home or office. If you’re thinking of decluttering and getting organised for the year ahead, then this talk is for you.
Have you got questions for our speakers? Now’s the time to ask our experts. After the Q&A, there will be more time for networking before we close at 3pm.
