As we come to the end of 2025, we pause to reflect, celebrate, and say a huge thank you to everyone in the network for their continued support.

What a super year we’ve had.

A Year of Vision, Courage, and Community

We began 2025 in January with intention and clarity at our annual Vision Board Workshop, setting the tone for a year with a fun morning focusing on personal and professional growth. Shortly after, we hosted our very first PAUSE event, which was a moment to breathe, reflect, and remember that building a business doesn’t have to mean burning yourself out.

From the start of this year, we’ve been reminded that success isn’t all about doing more and working harder, but about doing what matters and being smarter about it. A big part of that included celebrating a huge milestone: 10 Years of Socially Shared!

That milestone gave us space to reflect on how far the network has come, how much it has evolved, and the incredible people who have shaped it along the way. We celebrated the longevity and impact Socially Shared has had across the region.

Growth, Change, and Saying Goodbye (So We Could Say Hello)

As with any year of growth, 2025 also brought change.

We said goodbye to elements of the business that had served us well for a long time, making room for fresh ideas, new structures, and exciting opportunities. Change is never easy, but it’s often necessary, and this year reminded us that when we evolve, it’s a sign of strength, not failure.

As Socially Shared grows, so too do our amazing Area hosts, and so we said goodbye to Claire Henley, Phaedra Elson, and Bev Skitt as they moved on to other projects. However, we also welcomed Suzanne Lane, Rowena Wilding, and Amy Dybleto to the team.

We enjoyed another Author Insights event, with plenty of conversations and connections for our local writing community and created new ways for members to share their expertise and stories.

Behind the scenes, roles shifted, responsibilities changed, and the Socially Shared membership grew to reflect the needs of our community today with exciting new membership packages.

Summer Momentum and Meaningful Connections

June brought our SELL OUT annual summer conference, a standout moment in the calendar that captured everything Socially Shared stands for: connection, learning, inspiration, and visibility.

Over the summer months, we strengthened partnerships, explored new locations, and watched the community grow beyond what we could have imagined. We were reminded once again that the magic of Socially Shared lies in the relationships formed over coffee, conversation, or shared moments.

New Platforms, New Voices, New Reach

This year also saw us step positively into new spaces, including the soft launch of our Podcast directory.

We saw members grow in confidence, win awards, launch ideas, speak at our events, and say yes to opportunities they once would have talked themselves out of. Watching that happen has been one of the greatest privileges of 2025.

November: A Month That Deserves a Special Mention

If ever there was a month that summed up momentum, it was November! It was the busiest month of the year for events and was packed with brilliant women networking and connecting. It’s times like these that remind us of how powerful we are when women support one another, champion each other’s success, and share opportunities generously.

And now, here we are in December!

• The perfect time to slow down.
• Time to look back with pride.
• A chance to say thank you.

Thank you to our members, area hosts, speakers, partners, and supporters. Thank you for showing up, for sharing openly, for collaborating generously, and for making Socially Shared what it is – a community built on collaboration, not competition.

Looking Ahead to 2026

As we take a look at the year ahead, one thing feels certain. This is just the beginning!

2026 will bring:

• Continued growth
• New workshops and events
• Exciting collaborations and partnerships
• More spaces to learn, connect, and be visible
• A continued commitment to supporting women in business at every stage

We’re stepping into the new year with excitement and a deep appreciation for everything that’s come before.
